The Think-Nth Faculty

Mathematics educators selected for depth, clarity and fit.

Think-Nth is a selected faculty, not a directory. You tell us about the student. We review the mathematics, the course and the schedule, then recommend the educator best equipped to teach them.

The match

Think-Nth manages the match. You never compare listings.

Six things are read together before an educator is named. Each one narrows the faculty, in order.

  1. x₁StudentCourse, year and how they currently work through mathematics.
  2. x₂Academic needWhere understanding breaks down and what depends on it.
  3. x₃CurriculumThe syllabus, textbook and assessment the student is sitting.
  4. x₄Learning prioritiesWhat has to be secure first, and what follows it.
  5. x₅Teaching styleHow this student is best explained to, and by whom.
  6. x₆AvailabilityTime zone, weekly rhythm and continuity across a term.

Questions families ask

Can I request a specific educator?

Yes. Tell us who you have in mind during your consultation. If they're the strongest match and available, we'll recommend them.

What if the fit isn't right?

Contact us and we'll review the match and recommend an alternative. There's no penalty for changing.

Will my child keep the same educator?

Yes. Continuity is the default, and students stay with the same educator through a course or term.

Do educators work with learning differences?

Many have experience supporting students with learning differences. Share the details during your consultation and we'll match accordingly.

How do I know my child is progressing?

You'll receive regular updates and can view session notes and progress in the Parent View of the Think-Nth Learning Hub.

Tell us about the student. We will name the educator.

A consultation covers the course, the current mathematics and the schedule, and ends with a recommendation and the reasoning behind it.
