Accessibility Statement

Standard we work toward

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our reference standard for this website and the family, student and educator portals. We have not commissioned an independent third-party audit, so we describe WCAG 2.1 AA as the target we design and test against rather than a certified conformance claim.

What we do on this site

• Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate page structure.
• Text alternatives on meaningful images, and empty alternatives on decorative ones.
• Keyboard access to navigation, menus, forms and interactive math tools.
• Visible focus indicators on links, buttons and form fields.
• Colour contrast targets for body text and interface text, with colour never used as the only signal.
• Text that resizes and reflows on small screens without loss of content.
• Reduced-motion handling: background animation is minimal and non-essential.

Accessibility in tutoring sessions

Sessions run over video with a shared whiteboard. On request, and where the family tells us what the student needs, educators can adjust delivery — for example larger on-screen handwriting, high-contrast whiteboard colours, spoken narration of every written step, extra processing time, written step summaries after the session, or materials sent in advance so the student can preview them. Tell us at the consultation and we will record the accommodation in the learning plan.

Think-Nth does not diagnose learning differences and does not issue formal accommodation determinations for schools or examination boards. We work from what a family, school or existing plan tells us.

Known limitations

• Some mathematics content is rendered visually (graphs, geometric figures, the interactive explorers). Where a figure carries the meaning, ask us for a described or tabulated alternative and we will supply one.
• PDF documents such as sample progress reports and planning packs may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will provide an accessible or plain-text version on request.
• Some third-party embedded content is outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site.
