Think-Nth is a mathematics education company, not a general tutoring marketplace. We were built on a single conviction: mathematics deserves more than shortcuts. We support students from middle school through college — US, UK, IB, IGCSE, A-Level, AP, SAT and ACT mathematics — because too many students learn to survive math without ever learning to think mathematically. We're here to change that, one student at a time.
The meaning behind the name.
In mathematics, n represents possibility, and the nth term represents a point within a sequence. We chose Think-Nth because learning mathematics is also a progression. Every student begins from a different place, and meaningful instruction starts by understanding where they are, identifying what comes next, and helping them build the thinking needed to move forward.
For us, Think-Nth is about more than reaching the next answer. It is about developing the mathematical understanding to go further.
Rigor meets patience.
Two things most math help gets wrong: it either pushes too hard and loses the student, or goes too gently and never builds real ability. We hold both.
Every private tutoring session at Think-Nth is one-on-one and built around the student's actual academic needs — their textbook, their professor's notation, their upcoming exam. We don't recycle canned lessons. Private tutoring remains Think-Nth's most individualized format. Think-Nth also offers matched small-group mathematics classes for students who benefit from collaborative instruction.
We start by finding the gaps: the assumption you skipped in Algebra II, the definition your Calc II class glossed over. Then we rebuild from the foundation up so the harder material actually holds together.
The goal isn't just a better grade — it's a student who can sit down with a hard problem and know how to begin.
