Terms of Service

Last updated: August 10, 2026

By using the Think-Nth website ("Site"), operated by Think-Nth LLC, or purchasing any Think-Nth program, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Services

Think-Nth is a managed online mathematics tutoring company. We serve students from middle school through college, including private one-on-one tutoring, small-group classes, test preparation (SAT, ACT, AP, GRE Quantitative and other exams), and support for international curricula (IB, IGCSE, A-Level and others). Families purchase tutoring packages, plans, and group-class seats directly from Think-Nth. Think-Nth sets customer pricing, selects and matches educators to each student, and administers scheduling, learning plans, progress reporting and ongoing support. Think-Nth is not a marketplace or directory of independent tutors, and families do not contract with tutors individually. Educational-consulting services for schools and organizations are offered separately under scoped agreements.

Booking, cancellation, refunds

Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are free of charge. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be billed at 50% of the applicable session rate. No-shows are billed in full. Refunds for delivered sessions and unused package sessions are considered case by case in accordance with the terms of the purchased plan.

A plain-language version of these terms, including how to request a refund, is on the Cancellation & Refund Policy page.

Packages, pausing, upgrades and rematching

Package sessions are assigned to one student and are used within the program period agreed at enrollment. Families may pause a package for holidays, exams or travel by contacting Think-Nth before the break; remaining sessions are held. Think-Nth will make reasonable efforts to preserve the existing educator and schedule, but availability cannot be guaranteed after an extended pause. Scheduling resumes when the family confirms they are ready. Families moving to a larger program may request an upgrade while the package is still active: the value of unused sessions is credited at the rate originally paid and applied to the new program, with the family paying only the difference. Upgrade credit covers unused sessions only, is available once per package and is not refundable in cash. If the tutor-student fit is not right within the first two sessions, Think-Nth will review the match and provide a rematch at no additional cost, subject to educator availability.

Small-group classes

Small-group class prices are per student, per class. Classes run with 3–6 students: a class launches with a minimum of 3 enrolled students and is capped at 6. Families join the interest list first; Think-Nth confirms placement and schedule before payment.

Educator matching and accounts

Educators who apply to teach with Think-Nth are reviewed and approved before they are matched with students; they are not listed in a public directory and do not set the prices families pay. Educator approval is subject to Think-Nth's ongoing quality standards and may be revoked at our discretion. Think-Nth determines which educator is recommended to a given family based on the student's needs and the educator's expertise and availability.

Diagnostics and placement

Where useful, Think-Nth may use a diagnostic assessment or consultation to recommend an appropriate starting point, course level, or program for a student. Diagnostics are used only when relevant to placement and are not required for every plan.

Portal accounts, practice and session tools

Enrolled families and approved educators may be given access to Think-Nth online accounts. Access is role-based: student accounts, parent/guardian accounts linked to a specific student, and educator accounts each see only the information appropriate to that role. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential, for activity that occurs under your account, and for ensuring the information you provide is accurate. Accounts are for the enrolled student and their authorized parent or guardian and may not be shared.

Through the portal, educators may assign Math Lab practice and record session notes, learning plans and progress. Students may upload worksheets, photographs of handwritten work and other learning materials, and may use session whiteboards; that content is stored so it can be revisited by the student, their assigned educator and, where linked, their parent or guardian. Upload only material you are permitted to share, and do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others. Practice questions, worked solutions, lesson materials and other Think-Nth content are provided for the enrolled student's personal learning use and may not be redistributed or resold.

Live sessions and interviews take place over third-party video-conferencing services, and Think-Nth may issue a meeting link for each session. Those services are operated independently and are subject to their own terms; Think-Nth does not record sessions and is not responsible for third-party service availability. Meeting links are for the scheduled participants only. Think-Nth may suspend portal access for misuse, for non-payment, or where required to protect other users.

Acceptable use
