A welcome from Dr. Solomon G.
Dr. Solomon G. is a mathematics educator with over 32 years of teaching and mentoring experience. He holds a PhD in Engineering alongside advanced qualifications in computer science and electronics, and teaches mathematics to students in Grades 9-12 and early university courses. Throughout his career he has helped learners build strong conceptual foundations, sharpen analytical thinking and develop the confidence needed for school examinations, competitive tests and further quantitative study. Dr. G. teaches algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, statistics and advanced problem solving, with an emphasis on understanding rather than memorization. His lessons combine clear explanation, step-by-step problem solving, visual models and applied examples drawn from engineering and technology. Known for a patient, encouraging and student-centred approach, he adapts each lesson to the learner's pace, strengths and goals — whether the student needs to strengthen fundamentals, raise a grade or prepare for advanced mathematics coursework and competitions.
Teaching philosophy
My teaching centres on curiosity, analytical reasoning and strong conceptual foundations rather than rote memorization. Every student can excel in mathematics when guided with patience, personalized instruction and interactive methods.
